Word Spacing

In the Luxeuil Minuscule example, there is very little, if any, space between words. In fact, entire lines look as if they are connected.

In the Irish Minuscule example, there is a much greater emphasis on space between words. This may be an aid to reading since Latin was not the primary language of the scribes. Since there is space between letters, the spaces between words are slightly more difficult to distinguish, but they are there.
