Ascenders And Descenders

In Gothic Littera Bastarda, ascenders tend to be very tall, thin, and often bent. They often serve as the main form of embellishment on letters and can include extravagant flourishes. Descenders in this hand often end in a point, indicating the speed with which the letters are written.
